How We Help Your Business |
|
 |
Here are the 5 key Phases that ensure we design a program that meets your demanding needs:
- Phase 1: Research and Discovery
- Exploratory Meeting - The first step involves lessons about your corporate vision, values, strategy and goals. This enables us to gain a sense of where you want to take your organization and what is important to you.
- Executive Briefing - Our experts meet with the executive team to clarify performance issues and gain an understanding of the barriers to achieving the organization's vision. This creates a clear picture of the current situation and the roles the executives will play in the solution.
- Business Improvement Discussions - Meetings with other key people and employees at all levels are used to learn their views regarding the strengths and challenges of the business and their own individual needs and goals.
Additional data collection methods will be used as needed, such as interviews, site tours, company data, customer focus meetings and surveys.
· Phase 2: Design
o Create the Solution & Modify the Systems Together - Research data is analyzed and discussed with a selected management group. These discussions will yield a consensus, turning the data into action items and elements of a plan. A customized project map is developed for your organization that emphasizes practical applications of the action items and elements agreed upon with the management team.
o Establish the Metrics - The leadership team will work with our corporate solutions specialists to determine what measurements will be employed to observe the success of the initiative. These measurements will be used in the evaluation phase to ascertain the overall success of the solution and identify where additional modifications might be made to achieve your organization's goals.
· Phase 3: Delivery
- Leadership Execution Meeting - Now that you have a satisfactory project map, the next step is to convert the plan into measurable accomplishments. Using team meetings, the leaders identify their strengths and areas of expertise. Leadership skills are honed. Roles and responsibilities are identified and assigned and implementation schedules are created.
- Kick off Meetings - At the kick-off meeting, the leadership team and coaches present the plan to selected key employees. The roles of the employees are clearly explained and defined.
- Develop Internal Coaches - Individuals from within the organization are selected to serve as coaches to their associates. These coaches will be responsible for working with co-workers in reaching corporate goals. Those selected to serve as coaches receive training in both the continuous improvement process and how to be successful coaches.
- Behavior & Coaching Series - With your coaches and Dale Carnegie Trainers taking the lead, participants engage in a process that increases and hones their skills in areas critical to their performance and the goals of the project plan. A cycle of classroom instruction, real life application and strong coaching takes place over time, building new, more productive habits and skills.
· Phase 4: Evaluate & Refine
- Project Team Check Ins - At predetermined intervals within a 45-day period, the project team reports on developments within the organization and discusses how best to ensure that the initiative's goals are met and exceeded within the given time-frame.
- Follow-Up Series - All participants are required to supply a follow-up report after a 45-day period has elapsed. This ensures proper supervision and monitoring of progress. The progress and outcomes of all initiatives are measured. All gains and improvements from the solution are recorded and noted, while preparations for the next phase begin.
- Leadership Team Strategic Session - The project leaders meet to review the current progress. They review results and consider what, if any, further steps may be necessary. If subsequent steps are deemed necessary, the team will determine a set of actions based on the corporate vision and values.
· Phase 5: Continuous Improvement
- Team Action Series - All participants involved with implementing the solution will maintain their regular work-flow and participate on continuous improvement teams. These teams are facilitated by your internal coaches and mentored by the leadership team. Dale Carnegie® Training consultants continue their involvement in the training initiative by presenting briefings and coaching sessions at the appropriate meetings.
- Additional Coaching - In the event that extra coaching is needed for selected participants, Dale Carnegie® Training specialists are available.
